1/2 c. butter
2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. chopped almonds
1/2 c. brown sugar
Melt butter. Add other ingredients. Heat and stir until crispy (five minutes). Chill.
6 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream
Whip cream. Chill. Beat cheese, sugar, and juice. Fold in whipped cream. Chill.
Fruit Mixture: Use any fruit about 3 cups of bite size pieces. (Peaches, bananas, melon, grapes, strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries.) Mix together.
Put in large clear bowl or parfait glasses in layers. (For a large group, punch bowl works best.) Arrange in order: Crunch, cream cheese, and fruit. Make only 3 layers or make several.
