FRENCH CREME ICING
 

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Pinch salt
1 c. sugar
1 stick softened butter
1/2 c. cold Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cook together flour, milk and salt until thick (will be lumpy). Cool and set aside. Mix with electric mixer remaining ingredients well, then add cooled flour mixture. Beat until creamy; spread on cake; keep chilled.
