1 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 lb. Italian sausage 4 tbsp. butter 2-3 cloves garlic, minced 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 c. cream (half and half) Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 lb. white pasta 1/2 lb. green pasta Dash nutmeg Saute sausage in oil, remove and set aside. Add butter to oil and saute garlic, then add mushrooms. Add cream, sausage, salt and pepper and nutmeg. Bring to boil and cook until it thickens. Cook pasta, drain, add cheese to sausage mixture, stir to mix. When cheese has melted pour over cooked pasta. |
