ITALIAN FAMILY MEATBALLS
 

3 lbs. ground chuck
3/4 lbs. ground pork
1 veal chop, chopped fine
2 cans tomato sauce
1 lg. can solid pack tomatoes
2/3 loaf of dry french bread (wet 3 hours)
1/2 oz. pkg. of dried mushrooms (chop and fry until limp)
2 eggs
Wine
2 onions
4 stalks celery
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Salt and pepper

Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to ground chuck and ground pork. Mix well then add eggs, 2 tablespoons catsup, Worcestershire sauce and cracker meal to hold shape. Roll and shape into balls, roll in cracker meal. Add 2 cloves garlic to oil and brown. Soak mushrooms in wine. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and a little sugar before serving.
