CRUST:

Use any sweet roll dough.

FILLING:

Double this for three.

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
2 c. cream (half & half or canned milk)

Mix sugar and flour. Add remaining ingredients. Roll crust to 1/4" thick or less. Press in round cake pan, put fruit (peaches, pears, plums, Gramma used prunes) on crust. (Make sure to sprinkle fruit with sugar so it doesn't get brown.) Pour filling over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees until custard sets, about 45 minutes.
