1 pkg. (2 layer) yellow cake mix with pudding
1 pkg. (4 oz.) Baker's German sweet chocolate, melted Prepare cake mix as directed on package, adding melted chocolate before beating. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Spread warm cake with topping and broil 2 to 3 minutes until light brown. BROILED TOPPING: Combine: flake coconut 2/3 c. chopped pecans 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. vanilla Blend topping in bowl and spread gently on top of cake. Broil, watching carefully. |
