1/2 lb. sm. curd cottage cheese (1 c.) 3 tbsp. butter 1 egg 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs, separated Dash salt 3 tbsp. butter Canned or fresh fruit of choice Blend cottage cheese in blender or food processor until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except 3 tablespoons butter and 5 tablespoons dry crumbs, and mix until well blended. Let stand for 10 minutes. Bring pot of salted water to boil. Form mixture into 8 to 10 balls. Place in boiling water and boil for 8 minutes. |
