FISH STEW
 

5 lb. catfish
5 lb. potatoes
1 lb. dried sausage
1 can tomato paste (6-8 oz.)
Salt, black & red pepper
5 lb. onions
1 lb. bacon
1 can mushroom soup
1 doz. eggs

Fry bacon crisp and pour grease into large cast iron pot. Layer onions and potatoes. Cover with water and cook. After vegetables are done add soup and tomato paste. Add fish and sausage and crumbled bacon. After fish is done (about 30 minutes) break eggs on top of stew, allow to cook. Serve hot. Feeds about 15-20.
