FISH OR CRAB CHOWDER
 

2 med. onions, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon, cut up
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. can green peas
Red pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 pts. milk (more if more soup desired)
2 tbsp. dry sherry
1 lb. crab claw meat, or non-oily-fish cut into small pieces
Dash Tabasco sauce

Brown bacon and onions, cook until tender, drain grease. Add tomatoes and bring to boil. Add soup, milk, peas and seasonings. Bring to boil. Add crabmeat or fish, cook until fish flakes. Just before serving, add dry sherry.
