1 lb. ground beef, lightly browned
1 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. oil

Drain and stir in:

1 pkg. sloppy joe mix
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar

Simmer 10 minutes. Makes 1 quart.
