1 c. Italian olive oil 8 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced 1 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped, fresh parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. freshly grated pepper, black 1 tsp. salt In a saucepan, saute the garlic in oil over medium heat, until garlic is golden brown. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add parsley and seasonings; simmer uncovered another 10 minutes. Combine thoroughly with pasta before serving. |
