Sift together into bowl: 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/8 tsp. cloves 1/8 tsp. allspice
Stir in: 1/2 c. raisins
Combine: 1/4 c. melted shortening or cooking oil 1 unbeaten egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. liquid sweetener
Blend well and add to dry ingredients. Mix until moistened. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. 3 cookies = 1 bread exchange, 1 fat exchange. 1 cookie = 57 calories.
