Combine: 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar 1/8 tsp. paprika 2 tsp. salt 1 sm. onion, grated 2 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. salad oil 1/3 c. cider vinegar 2 tbsp. celery seed Beat with rotary beater or blender. Gradually add: 2 cups salad oil beating constantly. Gradually add: 1/3 cup vinegar. Beat until a thick stable emulsion has formed. Add: 2 tablespoons celery seed (poppy seed may be substituted). Good on spinach salad. |
