6 strips bacon 3 c. salad greens, torn into bite size pieces 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges 2 hard cooked eggs, sliced 3 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced 3 oz. boiled ham, cut in strips 1 c. cheese and garlic croutons Cook bacon crisp and reserve 2 tbsp. bacon fat. Crumble bacon and combine with greens, tomatoes and eggs, cheese, ham and croutons. Serve with mustard dressing. MUSTARD DRESSING: 2 tbsp. bacon fat 1/4 c. prepared mustard 1/4 c. sour cream 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. sugar Combine all ingredients and serve with chef's salad. |
