1 c. milk 1 c. whipping cream 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (1 lb.) empty coffee can with lid 1 (3 lb.) empty coffee can with lid Ice Rock salt Tape for sealing cans Experiment with other flavors Combine milk, whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla in 1 pound can. Mix well. Cover tightly with lid. Seal lid with heavy duty tape. Place in 3 pound can. Layer empty space with ice and salt. Cover with lid and seal tightly with tape. Roll can between two people 4-5 feet apart for 10 minutes. Open 3 pound can and drain out water. Replace with ice and salt again. Roll again for 2 minutes. (If solid, it's ready!) |
