MY MOM'S BUTTER RING KUCHEN
 

Take 3 cups of flour and mix with 1/2 cup butter. Mix this like pie dough.

Then add: 1/2 pt. cream 2 tbsp. sugar

Dissolve 1 cake yeast in 1/4 cup milk with 2 teaspoons sugar. Let yeast rise until it gets foamy. Mix all together and put in refrigerator overnight.

In the morning cut in 3 pieces and make into rings and let rise 2 hours. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. When baked make icing of powdered sugar and milk--spread on rings and sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
