APPLE FRITTERS
 

2/3 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water
8 med. apples, peeled, cored and cut in wedges
Crisco for frying
Cinnamon

Combine dry and wet ingredients to make batter.

Dip apple wedges into batter. Fry apples in melted shortening until medium brown. Drain excess shortening on paper towel. Sprinkle apple fritters with cinnamon.
