3 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2-1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. skim milk, scalded Ground nutmeg, optional Beat well the first 4 ingredients. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Pour into 6 (6 ounce) custard cups. Place cups in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan and pour hot water in the pan until it reaches 1 inch. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until a knife inserted between the center and the edge comes out clean. Remove cups from pan and chill. |
