1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 2/3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla or 1/4 c. chartreuse liquor 1 can (1 lb.) pitted black cherries, drained Whipped cream Mix sugar, eggs, flour, milk and vanilla or chartreuse. Place the cherries in a well greased pan (8 inches square and 2 inches deep) and pour the batter over them. Bake in a 400 degree F. oven for about 45 minutes. Serve hot with whipped cream.
