LOVELY FRUIT TRIFLE

2 c. milk
1 box angel food cake
2 small boxes Banana Pudding Mix
can crushed pineapple
can pineapple juice
Cool Whip
4 bananas, sliced
5 kiwi, sliced
1 pkg. strawberries, sliced

Place the banana slices into the pineapple juice and let soak for at least an hour (prevents bananas from turning brown quickly).

Angel Food Cake:

Follow the directions on the box, except replace the water with the can of crushed pineapples along with the juice. Once the cake has cooled, cut the Angel Food Cake into 1-inch cubes.

Whisk the Banana Pudding Mix and milk for 2 minutes; let stand for 2 minutes.

Fill bottom of a trifle bowl with 1/2 of the Angel Food Cake cubes. Top with 1/2 of the Banana Pudding. Arrange thinly cut kiwi slices over the pudding. Line the side of trifle bowl with Kiwi slices against the Pudding layer (press against the trifle bowl as you’re sliding the fruit down).

Top with a layer of Cool Whip. Add a layer of strawberry slices. Line the side of the trifle bowl with Strawberry slices against the Cool Whip layer. Add the other half of the Angel Food Cake cubes. Top with the remaining Banana Pudding. Add another layer of banana slices. Line the side of the trifle bowl with banana slices against the pudding layer. Spread another layer of Cool Whip.

Decorate the top with raspberries (other ideas are blueberries and fanned strawberries).
