BUTTERSCOTCH CHEESECAKE BARS
 

12 oz. butterscotch morsels
1/3 c. butter
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. chopped nuts
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium saucepan, melt morsels and butter, stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half the mixture firmly onto the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Beat in milk, vanilla and egg; mix well.

Pour into prepared pan, top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature before cutting into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
