1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 3 eggs 1 c. chopped raisins 1 c. finely chopped pecans 1 tsp. cloves, ground 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 4 1/2 c. flour Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, nuts, and raisins. Mix. Add remaining ingredients. Knead and make into 4 long rolls. Wrap rolls in wax paper. Set in refrigerator until hard. Slice and bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes. (Watch closely and adjust time if necessary.) |
