1 c. shortening or butter 2 eggs 2 c. brown sugar 1 c. sugar 2 c. quick cooking oats 2 c. flour 1 c. coconut 1 c. chocolate chips 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts (pecans) Mix everything together in a large bowl. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields: about 8 dozen. |
