1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1 c. oil 1 c. Crisco (scant) 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. flour 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 4 tsp. cream of tartar 1 big bag chocolate chips Cream sugars, oil, and Crisco until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chips last. Bake at 375 degrees until light brown. Remove from oven; let set on tray 3 to 5 minutes, then remove to rack to cool. |
