1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter (2 sticks) 8 oz. cream cheese 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract 3 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda FROSTING: 1 c. powdered sugar 1/8 tsp. almond extract 1 tbsp. butter 1-2 tbsp. milk Food coloring Cream sugar, cream cheese and butter. Add egg and extracts. Beat and add flour and soda. Chill dough at least one hour. Roll out 1/8 inch thick. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool and frost. |
