1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. crushed cornflakes
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Sift dry ingredients together. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl, in order given. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
