1 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
8 c. Special K cereal
6 (1 oz.) Hershey bars
1 (6 oz.) butterscotch chips

Cook sugar and syrup until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add to cereal and mix. Press into buttered jelly roll pan. Cool. Melt candy bars and chips in double boiler or over low heat. Spread over cooled layer. Cool. Cut into bars.
