STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS
 

4 lg. green peppers
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/3 c. ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
Little pepper
1 c. potato chips, crushed
1 tsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds and cook for 5 minutes; drain. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown the onion and meat. Add the ketchup, salt and pepper; blend well. Stir in the chips. Place peppers on shallow baking dish and spoon the meat mixture into them. Combine the tomato sauce and sugar, and spoon half of it over the peppers. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Spoon the rest of the sauce over the peppers and bake another 10 or 15 minutes. These are very good.
