Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove wax casing from cheese. Separate crescent rolls into 2 rectangles. Place rectangles together to form square. Seal perforations. Spoon preserves over center of dough.
Place cheese in center of dough; bring corners together over cheese.
Pinch edges to seal; place, seam side down, on cookie sheet. Brush dough with egg white. Bake 16 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into wedges, serve warm. 6 servings. Prep Time: 10 minutes.
