2 cans whole water chestnuts 1 pkg. bacon, cut into thirds SAUCE: 1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. brown sugar3/4 c. catsup1 tsp. lemon juice1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce: Wrap chestnuts with bacon and secure with toothpick. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Drain grease. Cover each chestnut with sauce and bake 20 minutes. Makes 45. |
