36 walnut pieces

Cut bacon slices in thirds. Place piece of walnut in center of pitted date. Wrap with 1/3 strip bacon. Place on cookie sheet, edges down. Bake at 350 degrees until bacon is done, 5 to 10 minutes. These can be made up the night before and placed in refrigerator. Bake next day.
