Your favorite cake mix
18 flat-bottomed ice cream cones
Frosting (canned or homemade)
Cake decorations

Have Mom make your favorite cake mix according to the package directions. While she's doing that, place 18 cones in muffin tins. When the cake mix is ready, fill the cones half full. Cook the cone cakes at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, until the cake mix begins to pull away from the sides of the cones.

Have Mom check, she'll know for sure. Frost and decorate the cones.
