When you choose a Halloween pumpkin for your very own, test its skin with your fingernail. If it's thick and dents rather than tears when you press your fingernail into the skin you have found a pumpkin with big, fat ripe seeds. Usually the ripe pumpkins will be the biggest - and knowing you - you really wanted a big one anyway - right?
Wash and dry pumpkin seeds.
Mix:
2 c. pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Spread on a cookie sheet; salt. Bake at 250 degrees stirring occasionally until seeds are crisp and brown (1 to 2 hours).
