1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) grated sharp cheese Dried oregano 3/4 c. chili sauce or spaghetti sauce 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 c. milk Cook spaghetti, drain. In well-greased 2-quart dish, place half of spaghetti and half of cheese. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon oregano; dot with half of sauce and 1 tablespoon butter. Add remaining spaghetti and cheese; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon oregano and dot with remaining butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; pour milk over all. Top with remaining sauce. Bake uncovered 35-45 minutes or until milk is absorbed and cheese is melted. Great with broiled hamburgers and salad. |
