Mix a few drops of green cake coloring with approximately 2 heaping tablespoons of sugar. Spread on waxed paper to dry. Add a few drops of water to green cake coloring and color slivered almonds. Let dry. Mix red cake coloring with 4 heaping tablespoons of sugar. Spread on waxed paper to dry. This will be used to roll strawberries in and for decorating tops of berries. 2 sm. pkgs. strawberry Jello 2/3 c. chopped pecans 1 (3 oz.) can flaked coconut

Mix Jello with milk, add pecans and coconut. Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes. (Mixture will be grainy.)

Remove from refrigerator and form into small balls. Roll in red sugar, then take one end and dip in green sugar. Add 1 piece of slivered almond for the stem and shape like strawberries. If you use your thumb and 3 fingers to press the ball into the green sugar, this will cause the candy to resemble strawberries. Place in refrigerator to harden.
