ROCKY ROAD FUDGE BARS
 

CAKE:

1/2 c. butter
1 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour, unsifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

FILLING:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. nuts, chopped

ICING:

2 oz. cream cheese
1/2 can chocolate frosting

Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch pan. Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Meanwhile, mix sugar and eggs in bowl, then add rest of ingredients to bowl. Stir in melted mixture, mix well. Spread into pan.

FILLING: In bowl, combine cheese and butter. Add sugar and flour; mix. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 25 to 35 minutes.

ICING: Combine cream cheese and frosting. Spread over baked cake when it has cooled.
