6 oz. unsweetened chocolate 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. (4 c.) confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows Melt chocolate in double boiler. With electric mixer combine thoroughly cream cheese, vanilla and salt until smooth. Stir in walnuts and marshmallows and brown sugar gradually, and then chocolate. Beat mixture thoroughly. Add walnuts and marshmallows. Press fudge into 8 inch square pan lined with wax paper and chill one hour or until firm. Turn out on board and cut into squares. Store in airtight container and store in cool place. Keeps one week. Makes 2 1/2 pounds. |
