FUDGE TOPPED BROWNIES
 

1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
1 c unsifted flour
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
3 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Beat well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes.

Just before brownies are done, in heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with condensed milk and remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Remove from heat. Spread over hot brownies. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. Store uncovered at room temperature.
