STRAWBERRY POKE CAKE
 

1 white cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 pt. strawberries
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Prepare cake mix as directed. Bake in 13"x9" pan. Cool cake in pan 15 minutes then prick with fork at 1/2" intervals. Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and pour over cake. Chill 2 to 4 hours. Dip pan in warm water for 10 seconds, then unmold cake onto serving plate. Pour strawberries over top of cake, then spread Cool Whip over top. Refrigerate.
