1/2 c. shortening 3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa 3/4 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar 1 c. broken walnuts Beat eggs until light, add sugar and melted shortening. Mix flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder together; add egg mixture, then vanilla and nuts; mix well. Pour batter into greased 8"x8"x2" pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut in squares. |
