1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add flour mixture and beat well. Heat milk and butter to boiling and add to batter along with vanilla. Bake in square 8 or 9 inch pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes nice base for peaches and whipped cream.
