1 scant c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 3 eggs, separated 1 c. milk 1 c. cornmeal 3 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolks. Add milk, alternately with flour, salt and baking powder. Add cornmeal. Beat egg whites and fold in. Bake at 350 degrees 25 to 30 minutes in a 9 inch square pan. |
