31ST BIRTHDAY CAKE
 

1 angel food cake
16 oz. whole frozen strawberries
1 lg. carton Cool Whip
15 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
3 oz. box strawberry Jello
1 c. hot water
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. lemon juice

Bake an angel food cake and let it cool (or buy one). Dissolve the Jello in the very hot tap water. Add frozen strawberries; put the mixture in the ice box for 15 to 20 minutes until it is thick but not set. Fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip. Set back into refrigerator.

Rip the cake up into bite size pieces (or slightly larger). Put in 9"x13" pan. Beat the cream cheese, add condensed milk and lemon juice and mix well. Drop this over the cake pieces with a big spoon. Do the same with the strawberry mixture. Keep refrigerated. Serve with a spatula; top with more Cool Whip. The strawberry mixture can be replaced with canned cherry pie filling or lemon pudding. Doesn't sound like much but it always goes over great at a party!
