2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco (or 8 tbsp.) 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 3 c. cake flour 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. lemon extract 6 oz. Sun Drop Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Alternate cake flour and Sun Drop then vanilla and lemon. Pour in well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. GLAZE: 2 tbsp. butter 2 c. powdered sugar 2 oz. Sun Drop Mix glaze ingredients until smooth. Spread on top and sides of cake. |
