Bake cake as directed in a deep 13x9" pan.
While still hot poke holes into the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon. Pour condensed milk over hot cake. Let sit awhile until cooled and spread on chocolate fudge sauce. Refrigerate until cooled completely and then top with whipped topping and chocolate chips. Chill at least 3 hours.
