ALSATIAN BAKED CABBAGE
 

1 med. cabbage
5 lg. carrots
3 lg. onions
8 potatoes
Salt & pepper
1/2 c. chicken bouillon
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/2 lb. smoked sausage

Trim cabbage. Cut into 8 wedges. Trim carrots. Cut into 1/2 inch chunks. Peel onion and quarter. Peel potatoes, cut into halves or quarters. Cut sausage into 1 inch pieces. Place cabbage on bottom of large roaster or Dutch oven. Cover with carrots, onion, potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Put sausage on top. Heat bouillon and pour over the top. Cover and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours or more.
