1 med. head cauliflower, broken into flowerettes and sliced 1 sm. handful snow peas 6-8 fresh mushrooms 1 tsp. grated ginger 1/2 tsp. garlic 3 tbsp. oil 4 tbsp. chicken broth 3 tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cornstarch 4 tbsp. water Cut cauliflower into flowerettes; string and break snow peas. Slice mushrooms. Heat oil; add vegetables. Stir fry a minute or so. Add garlic and ginger; stir a few more times. Add broth, soy, red pepper flakes, sugar, and salt. Cover and cook 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are cooked to a crisp state. Stir in cornstarch and water. Serve immediately. |
