1 c. brown, white sugar 1 can yams 1/2 c. liquid from canned yams 1/2 stick butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cinnamon Drain yams, dry in 200 degree oven on greased cookie sheet for 30-60 minutes. Put in greased casserole dish. Bring sugars, liquid from yams to a boil. Boil until it begins to thicken. Add butter and vanilla. Pour over yams, sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
