12 lg. mushrooms 1/2 c. crab meat 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. celery, finely chopped 2 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 tsp. lemon juice Dash of salt 2 tbsp. buttered fine bread crumbs Wash mushrooms; remove caps and set aside. Trim tips of the stems. Chop stems, finely cut crab meat into small pieces. Melt butter in skillet; cook chopped mushroom stems until just tender. Add crab meat, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice and salt. Stuff mushroom caps. Sprinkle with crumbs. Broil about 7 minutes; serve hot. Serves 12. |
