1 lg. cauliflower 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. Sharp cheese, grated 1 1/2 c. med. white sauce 1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds Paprika Wash cauliflower well; remove large outside leaves but not small ones near head. Place whole in saucepan with 1 inch boiling, salted water. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until tender; drain and place on warm platter. Mix cheese with white sauce; pour over cauliflower. Arrange almonds, porcupine-fashion over head. Garnish with paprika. Yield: 4 servings. |
